Prinsloo Safaris provide professional Trophy Hunting and Photographic Safari Tours in Southern Africa. Operating from the Pongola area, KwaZulu-Natal, the company is ideally situated in the bush to provide you with the ultimate tailor-made safari with a wide range of travel and accommodation consulting. 

 

Prinsloo Safaris is operated by professional hunter and outfitter Andries Prinsloo.
 

Andries is qualified as a dangerous game professional hunter and outfitter who operates in both KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo provinces of South Africa.

Important Booking Information

What you need for your trip...

  • First you need a valid passport and visa. (please check regulations relating to your country of origin)
  • Airline Tickets (remember return tickets)
  • You can fly direct to King Shaka International Airport near Durban from where you will be picked up (additional cost will apply) and start your safari with us.
  • You will need a letter of invitation from your Hunting Outfitter. We will send you this via email when you book.

Bringing your own rifles?

The following is very important...

  • You need a completed, but NOT SIGNED, SAP520 form. The first police official at the airport will sign it. That is for your temporary licence for your rifles.
     

  • Proof of Ownership (CBP form 4457-Certificate of registration for personal effects taken abroad)
     

  • Letter of motivation which is a letter written by yourself to motivate why you wish to import rifles)

About Payment

  • An initial deposit of 50% on all accommodation will be required to secure your booking.
  • Deposit will not be refundable if booking is cancelled 50 days or less prior to hunt.
  • All outstanding payments must be settled on the last day of the safari before clients leave the hunting area. This can be done via electronic funds transfer (EFT) and proof of payment will be required.
  • All wounded animals will be charged at full price.
  • Taxidermy services are available on request.
